Conventual Franciscans:

Fr. Peter Sarnicki, OFM Conv. Pastor
Fr. Peter Sarnicki was born on August 28, 1968 in Przemysl, in Southeastern Poland.
He graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1986.
After high school he entered the Franciscan order. There he entered the Franciscan Seminary in Krakow. He was ordained in 1994. For two years he served as an associate at Blessed Holy Mother Sanctuary in Rychwald near Zywiec, Poland. Afterwards he was a pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Bratislava, Slowakia for seven years. Then he moved to Levoca, for one year as a guardian for the Franciscan community there.
In 2004 he came to St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish, first as an associate and then was named pastor in 2005.

Fr. Edward Staniukiewicz, OFM Conv.- resident
Father has been at Saint Margaret Mary since August of 2005. Fr.Edward He comes to the Diocese of Rockford and our Parish from Poland.
He was born in 1961 in Kamienna Gora. He attended Franciscan High School in Legnica, Franciscan Seminary in Krakow and Papal Academy of Theology in Krakow, and joined the Religious Order of the Conventual Franciscan in 1980.
He was ordained a priest on May 23rd 1987 in Krakow. He has served in Poland at Glogowek, Dabrowa Gornicza, Jaslo, Kalwaria Paclawska and Sanok. During the last four years he was in Krakow, serving as treasurer of the St. Antony of Padua and Bl. James of Strepa Franciscan province in Poland.

Br.Henryk Lukawski, OFM Conv.
Brother Henryk was born on June 12, 1961 in Staszów, Poland. Br.Henryk.jpg 150x190 After completing grade and trade school, he worked as a locksmith. After serving two years in the Army Brother Henryk entered the Brotherhood of Franciscan Order in 1986. After years of formation, Brother Henryk proffesed his final vows on November 8, 1992 in Kalwaria Paclawska,where he resided till 1996. He was assigned to work for the Franciscan Community in Krakow in 1996-2000, then he worked in Germany for the period of one year. In 2001 Father Provincial assigned Brother Henryk to work in their main Provincial House in Krakow, where he worked till he was reassinged in July to our parish.
